The people behind PSCPL

Mr. Vijay Pusalkar, the chairman of Pusalkar Su-Rak-Sha, is a visionary and seasoned businessman. He is the founder and chairman of Indo Schöttle and of Pusalkar Su-Rak-Sha Components Pvt. Ltd.

He graduated from BMCC College and took his post-graduate degree at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi. He has also served as managing director of one of the Kirloskar Group companies.

In 1986 he collaborated with German technology and brought it to India to improve the company's engine valve collet manufacturing capability. He continues to be one of the leading forces behind Indo Schöttle's and Pusalkar Su-Rak-Sha's success.

A sports enthusiast, he is closely involved in social work - with Nutan Bal Shikshan Sangha (Pune), Rukmini Pusalkar Vidyalaya (Karnataka) and Vidyarthi Sahayak Samiti (Pune). He received the Life Time Achievement Award from TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), Hubli, in 2017-18.

A post-graduate in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from the University of North Carolina, Rohan Pusalkar holds a track record of over two and a half decades across engineering, automotive, manufacturing and fitness.

As Executive Director of PSCPL, his expertise in business planning, product development and operational management continues to establish the company's name and stature in the manufacturing industry.

At Indo Schöttle he served as Executive Director, directing all operational functions, and as Management Representative drove the ISO 9001, TS 16949 and ISO 14001 management systems. He oversaw the development of over 50 high-precision components and assemblies for domestic and international OE customers, and helped grow exports from INR 2.5 million to INR 900 million - and overall business from INR 35 million in 1995 to INR 2 billion by 2012.

Outside manufacturing, he promoted over 10 Gold's Gyms and is a founder promoter of the United Health & Fitness Federation, India's largest federation for fitness centres. He is a trustee of SHRUTI and of the O.P. Nayyar Foundation, both dedicated to Indian film music.
