The journey of the late Mr. Vijay B. Pusalkar - Founder Chairman of Pusalkar Su-Rak-Sha and a stalwart of the Indian manufacturing sector - began in the small town of Belagavi. It was in his father's workshop during childhood that the seeds of an industrialist were sown. Armed with a solid upbringing, he went on to build a strong educational foundation, graduating from BMCC College, Pune, and earning a post-graduate degree from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi.

Though his path was filled with struggles and obstacles, his grit and dedication carried him from working as an employee in reputed firms to becoming a visionary leader. He served as the Managing Director of a Kirloskar Group company before pioneering a manufacturing revolution. In 1986, he introduced advanced German technology to India, drastically improving the country's engine valve collet manufacturing capabilities.

As a dynamic entrepreneur, he became the driving force behind Indo Schöttle's Auto Parts Pvt. Ltd. and established landmark enterprises including Balzars India Pvt. Ltd. and Su-Rak-Sha Components Pvt. Ltd., specializing in precision components for the global automotive and defense industries.

Mr. Pusalkar was a sports enthusiast and a deeply committed philanthropist. He dedicated his time and resources to uplifting society through organizations like the Nutan Bal Shikshan Sangha (Pune), Rukmini Pusalkar Vidyalaya (Karnataka), and Vidyarthi Sahayak Samiti (Pune).

His lifetime of perseverance and excellence earned him prestigious accolades, including the Life Time Achievement Award from TiE Hubli (2017-18) and the Pride of BMCC award. A man of honesty and simplicity, his enduring legacy remains a guiding lighthouse for the aspiring youth of India.

Rohan Pusalkar serves as the Managing Director of Pusalkar Su-Rak-Sha Components Pvt. Ltd. (PSCPL), where he directs all operational functions for the company's production and supply of precision components and assemblies to the automotive, engineering and defence sectors. He holds a Master's degree in Manufacturing & Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Carolina, USA, and brings over three decades of leadership experience across the engineering, automotive, manufacturing and fitness sectors.

Prior to PSCPL, Rohan served as Executive Director of Indo Schöttle Auto Parts Pvt. Ltd. for 18 years, one of India's top manufacturers of high-precision components and assemblies for the automotive sector. He drove the company's ISO 9001, TS 16949 and ISO 14001 management systems, oversaw the development of over 50 high-precision components and assemblies for domestic and international OE customers, and helped grow the company's business from INR 35 million in 1995 to INR 2 billion by 2012. His initiative and leadership have been recognised by way of a plethora of awards and recognitions for his company over the years.

Rohan is also the founder director of the United Health & Fitness Federation (UHFF), a non-profit CSR initiative representing the fitness industry, and a promoter director of Gold's Gym, where he was among India's largest individual franchisee directors, having promoted over 10 outlets. He has served as a Director of Poona Club Ltd., one of India's oldest and largest private clubs, and is actively involved with the Shruti Foundation and the O.P. Nayyar Foundation, both dedicated to preserving and promoting classical Hindi film music.

Rohan has been an active sportsman throughout his life, playing at the club and national levels in various sports in his time. He continues to be actively involved in sports.

Megha Pusalkar serves as a Director at Pusalkar Su-Rak-Sha Components Pvt. Ltd., bringing close to two decades of leadership experience across healthcare, strategy and business development. She holds a Master's degree in Hospital Administration, with a focus on developing countries, from the Nuffield Centre for International Health and Development, University of Leeds, UK.

Megha founded and runs Solutions Unlimited, a healthcare consultancy in Pune, Maharashtra. Over the last decade she has helped hospitals build quality assurance and training systems, established the first QA department in a Pune hospital, and helped design the MHA programme at Bharati Vidyapeeth University.

Megha also serves as Chief Executive Officer of Avenor Ventures LLP, where she sets strategic direction across the group's advisory, private-aviation, investment and treasury, and healthcare initiatives, including Avenor Life Care, its senior-living and geriatric-care platform. Her career reflects a rare blend of deep healthcare expertise and strong strategic and operational leadership across diverse business domains.
